Abstract – State of Information Security in the Upper Midwest – January, 2018

What do the simple folk do?!

The problem – insufficient staff to support all current and future IT Positions, particularly Information Security.

1.     Why does this situation exist?

2.     What is the current state of Information Security in the Upper Midwest as of today?

3.     Is it any different than in other parts of the country or world?

These are valid questions and concerns for many CISO’s, CIO’s and other executive management.

A.     Why aren’t qualified people available?

B.     What can be done to remediate this situation?

C.     Are there limitations on hiring people?

This will be an interactive discussion/presentation.
