Session Description

Organizations operate in an increasingly complex and chaotic world.  The business environment of today is dynamic, unpredictable, and increasingly unstable.  Yet many firms still either ignore, abandon, or procrastinate developing a crisis response program.

Crisis situations are often unexpected and unavoidable and require quick reactions, on-the-spot decision making, and effective communications.  The success of responding is directly influenced by the level of knowledge and understanding of what a crisis is, the potential impacts, and how it unfolds and how best to respond.

An event may be extremely impactful and critical to one organization and not to another.  How does a company evaluate a crisis to position itself for its best response.  This presentation will go inside the mind of a crisis manager looking at the process to evaluate, assess, and respond to crisis of varying degrees.
